Pacific International is partnering with a publicly traded global water technology and infrastructure leader generating more than $9B in annual revenue. They are seeking a Senior Director, Oil & Gas Strategy & Business Development to lead market development efforts, deepen customer engagement, and drive strategic growth across North America.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the strategic market leader for the Oil & Gas vertical across North America
- Develop and execute growth strategies aligned to customer needs, market trends, and organizational priorities
- Build relationships with owner/operators, engineering firms, EPCs, consultants, strategic partners, and key industry stakeholders across the Oil & Gas value chain
- Identify emerging opportunities across upstream, midstream, downstream, refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, LNG, water management, and industrial infrastructure markets
- Partner closely with commercial, product, engineering, operations, and marketing teams to align resources around priority opportunities
- Support strategic account planning and expand engagement within key Oil & Gas customers
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, customer events, and industry associations
- Provide market intelligence and customer insights to support product development, commercial strategy, and long-term investment decisions
- Act as the voice of the customer internally and help influence future growth initiatives
Skills
- 10+ years of experience supporting the Oil & Gas market through business development, market development, strategic accounts, industry leadership, or commercial strategy roles
- Strong understanding of upstream, midstream, downstream, refining, petrochemical, and chemical processing markets, including customer priorities and industry trends
- Existing relationships across owner/operators, engineering firms, EPCs, consultants, or other strategic partners supporting the Oil & Gas industry
- Demonstrated success developing growth strategies and driving market expansion initiatives
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams within complex, matrixed organizations
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage senior customer and internal stakeholders
- Comfortable operating within an individual contributor role that leads through influence rather than direct people management
- Bachelor's degree required
- Global exposure and experience working across international organizations
- Advanced degree
