Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bayforce is seeking a Test Manager/Coordinator with banking experience to manage end-to-end testing for Oracle ARCS. The role involves overseeing the full test lifecycle, ensuring quality outcomes, and embedding governance processes into daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the end-to-end test strategy and plan
- Define test scope, approach, environments, data, and entry/exit criteria
- Ensure the creation, maintenance, and management of test cases with traceability to requirements
- Plan and drive test execution in Zephyr across all required test phases
- Own defect management and triage in Jira, including prioritization, retesting, and closure
- Apply governance artifacts and SDLC controls as part of normal test execution
- Provide status reporting and dashboards using Excel and PowerPoint
- Work directly with Technology, Finance, Treasury and vendor teams to resolve defects
- Provide clear go/no-go quality input for release decisions
Skills
- 10–15 years overall testing experience
- 5+ years owning end-to-end testing as a Test Manager, Test Coordinator or Senior Test Lead
- Hands-on experience testing data layers through to reporting
- Proficient in Zephyr (test execution), Jira (defect management), Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proven experience running test execution and defect triage with minimal oversight
- Experience operating within formal delivery governance and SDLC controls
- Able to communicate effectively from delivery teams through to executives
- Direct, clear, and comfortable challenging vendors and delivery teams
- Decisive in defect triage and quality decision-making
- Organized, disciplined, and delivery-focused
- Takes ownership of outcomes through to completion
- Single point of accountability for testing outcomes for the Reporting stream
- Responsible for test completion and defect closure prior to release
- Expected to use governance as an integrated delivery mechanism, not a compliance exercise
- This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role; governance-only profiles are not suitable
- Experience within the banking or financial services industry preferred not required
