The Segment CDP Marketing Activation Engineer is responsible for translating marketing requirements into scalable audiences within Segment, ensuring data is accurately ingested and activated to drive marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Segment CDP environments
- Create and manage: Audience lists, Customer segments
- Own: Data integration pipelines into CDP, Data validation and governance checks
- Support: Campaign execution (email, SMS via Adobe)
- Monitor: Daily CDP workflows and data flows
Skills
- Hands-on SME responsible for translating marketing requirements into scalable, governed audiences within Segment
- Ability to bridge Marketing, Data, and Engineering
- Experience ensuring data is accurately ingested, unified, and activated using strong identity resolution principles and standards
- Experience driving data quality, governance, and continuous optimization
- Ability to deliver reliable, high-impact audience use cases
- Experience building and maintaining Segment CDP environments
- Ability to create and manage audience lists and customer segments
- Ownership of data integration pipelines into CDP
- Experience with data validation and governance checks
- Support for campaign execution (email, SMS via Adobe)
