Senior Business Analyst (Forex Experienced)

Position Title: Senior Business Analyst Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Product Manager. Location: Fully Remote General Purpose: Acts as the analytical and operational bridge between product stakeholders and the development team, translating product insights and stakeholder needs into clear, actionable tasks to drive product improvement and delivery. Specific Objectives (~12 months): Investigate and document how the existing products work, including their logic, architecture, and user-facing behavior. Build communication channels with all relevant stakeholders to clarify product expectations and align understanding across teams. Translate discovered functionality and stakeholder input into clear, structured tasks for development, ensuring the backlog reflects current and accurate requirements. Key Activities: Collect, analyze, and formalize business and functional requirements from multiple sources. Investigate software/system errors and transaction-level issues across integrated platforms. Maintain clear documentation covering product logic, system behavior, and feature specifications. Proactively identify opportunities to improve product functionality or usability based on a product-oriented mindset. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to bridge understanding and maintain delivery momentum. Requirements Key Competences: Strong product mindset with the ability to evaluate feature impact and propose better alternatives. Solid understanding of forex and trading domains; familiarity with crypto products is a plus. Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, multitasking environments with evolving priorities. Ability to reverse-engineer existing systems by interviewing developers and analyzing system behavior. Clear, structured documentation skills using Confluence and Jira. Proficiency with SQL and the ability to analyze data from both relational and non-relational databases. Understanding of APIs and messaging systems (e.g., REST, brokers, MQ) to trace system behavior and dependencies. Strong communication and facilitation skills to align stakeholders and bridge business–tech understanding.
