The Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure and applications on AWS public cloud environments using a DevOps mindset. You will bring world-class cloud-native infrastructure and automation expertise to implement solutions for deployment, monitoring, and remediation in an automated fashion.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive automation of infrastructure and platform services in Public Clouds (AWS, GCP, and Azure) using Terraform and Ansible
- Architect new solutions with development for infrastructure and platform
- Design and manage Continuous Deployment using Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Jenkins
- Monitor applications and services within environments and participate in on-call rotations to resolve issues and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences
- Set up intelligent application performance alerts in observability tools to identify and fix issues before they impact business services and end-users
- Stay up-to-date with technologies outside your expertise to drive innovation and improvement
Requirements
- 6-7 years of experience deploying and automating infrastructure in public cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- In-depth hands-on experience with at least one public Cloud platform
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
- Experience with Continuous Deployment tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.)
- Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools for SaaS (Sumo, Splunk, Datadog, etc.)
- Understanding of cloud-based web applications and interest in measuring, analyzing, and improving distributed systems
