Job Description This role will work closely with and report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, but will also support the senior team, including the two co-founders. Duties will include the following: • Report, analyze and interpret complex financial and non-financial information to transform and better inform key stakeholders • Perform data analysis using Excel to draw trends and conclusions from large data sets of reservations, guest reviews, financial transactions, and other data extracts • Help with project management including status reporting, managing, follow ups with team members, completing key initiatives • Proactively identify areas of improvement and efficiencies, where automation or AI can be used, or Excel formulas could reduce manual calculations • Proactively identify areas of cost savings from financial statement and transaction analysis • Research projects - to learn about new technologies, competitor analysis, pricing trends, and other subjects • Proactively does research to find solutions and educate yourself on the subject matter • Manage and conduct ad hoc analysis, as needed Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in accounting or finance,, MBA strongly preferred • A minimum of 4 years financial analysis experience • Familiarity with the vacation rental or hospitality business a plus • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, seeks big picture answers beyond immediate scope • Advanced Excel skills - including pivot tables, vlookups, working with large data sets, diagnosing formula errors • Excel financial modeling skills a plus • Strong working knowledge of income statements, balance sheets and statement of cash flows • Strong skills with PowerPoint • Strong familiarity with Google Sheets, Docs and Drive • Familiarity with Xero, Ramp, Hostaway, Breezeway a plus • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, dynamic and fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) • Self motivated, ability to solve problems without hand holding • Keen ability to identify better ways to do things or gain efficiencies • Not afraid to ask questions • Detail oriented and well organized Responsibilities • Financial analysis and management reporting: You will conduct financial statement and general ledger analysis, including mis-coded expenses, trend analysis, • Your financial analysis of data will help senior leadership in making profitable business decisions • Will work with various departments within Beach Box - corporate, operations, guest services, maintenance, laundry, marketing and sales • Will create meaningful and insightful spreadsheets and reports that identify trends, problem areas and other insights from large data extracts of reservations, guest reviews, financial spend, and other data • Management reporting: Support the development of monthly, quarterly and annual reports for presentation to Management • Process improvement - we are always looking for better and more efficient ways to do things, so this person will always be looking for ways to improve the operations • Cost reduction opportunities - This person will be responsible for identifying opportunities to lower spend and where costs are growing • Process management - Where we implement new and existing processes, this person will help manage the process and report up to management results • Special projects: Support other initiatives and special projects as directed by the Management team • Project management - ability to assist in implementation of new processes, creating a task timeline, tracking progress, and reporting up on how it is going HOW TO APPLY: ✅ Please send CV (PDF Format) ✅ Include your EMAIL ADDRESS. ✅ Screenshot of Computer Specs ✅ Screenshot of SpeedTest ✅ Submit a 3–5 minute video sharing your experience and why you’re a good fit for the position ✅ When sending an email write "Senior Finance Professional Applicant" as a subject ❌ Failure to follow instructions will automatically be ignored.
