ABOUT THE ROLE: We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer, with a mission as our Design Systems Lead, to help us meet our customer’s expectations and keep improving how supportive our design system is for the whole company. You’ll come onboard to manage the development and application of our current design system: from building and evolving our library to enabling usability of the system via clear documentation and support. You’ll elevate our design system to a higher standard, be its advocate in front of collaborators and peers, and help us innovate new features and ideas with a clear coherency in our craft. Along with the rest of the Design System team (1 freelance designer, 3 frontend engineers, 2 mobile engineers and 1 engineering manager) you’ll contribute to shaping the vision and roadmap for our design system. YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): Bring designers (product & brand), product managers and engineers together to build, maintain, and evolve Revolve - Back Market’s Design System (Responsive Web, iOS, and Android) Collaborate with designers, engineers and product managers to define the scope and reach of the design system Drive the evolution of governance models, contribution frameworks, internal processes, documentation, and component libraries to enable seamless operations Proactively advocate your impact and autonomously communicate progress, learnings, and goals to the company and beyond Support teams in contributing new components, updating existing ones and consolidating patterns Ensure our experiences are accessible by design Contribute to the design system roadmap YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF YOU HAVE: ⭐ Excellent communication skills: able to inspire teams and influence senior stakeholders with clarity and empathy Proven experience building, scaling and maintaining design systems Expertise in e-commerce or marketplace experiences, with a track record of high design system adoption and maturity Highest quality bar when it comes to UI and designing pixel-perfect components In-depth expertise in platform-specific design patterns and behaviors DAY-TO-DAY WORK: Craft new components and update existing ones to suit our user needs and business goals Document component guidelines to ensure consistency Support stakeholders in contributing and evolving our design system WHY JOIN NOW ?
