Social Researcher - APAC

Position summary We are looking to hire a talented Social Researcher with the background in academic research, investigative journalism or intelligence services with open source intelligence experience. Duties and responsibilities Develop content for the Crystal Directory of Blockchain related entities. Identify, catalog and report new and existing blockchain business information. Monitor press sources for developments to blockchain businesses. Assist with the development of Open-Source tools and collection methods. Support information requests from internal teams. Requirements A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related public sector role. Experience in a professional Intelligence role, such as Law Enforcement, Government or a Financial Crime department OR as an academic research, investigative journalism or social research. Self-starter able to operate and manage with minimal supervision. BA equivalent or higher in Social Sciences, such as International Relations, Criminology, History, Media. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent Open Source Intelligence and Research skills. Fluency in English and Mandarin; fluency in other languages is a strong plus.
