Sr. Data Governance Lead - SES

Systems Engineering Services is seeking a Data Governance Lead based out of the DMV area. Top 5 Technical Skills: Strong project and program management experience (leadership and hands-on) with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex initiatives. Data Ownership, Quality Standards and Policies - Platform Leadership - Data Governance Strategy and Operating Model Experience with Master Data Management, Data Lineage, and Glossary Development. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Basic understanding of technical concepts such as data integration patterns (ETL/ELT, APIs), data lakes, and database technologies. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Snowflake and other data tools (e.g., dbt, Azure data factory). Experience in a regulated industry or with compliance frameworks is a bonus but not required.
