We are actively seeking PaaS, IaaS, and XaaS-experienced attorneys located anywhere in the United States with the following qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a technology transactions attorney, specifically with direct and pointed experience in PaaS, IaaS, and XaaS-focused cloud-based products and services agreements.
• Substantive experience structuring and drafting complex technical and commercial deals with a strong understanding of intellectual property law as it pertains to PaaS, IaaS, and XaaS.
• Excellent legal experience, with a background in an in-house environment preferred.
• Prior in-house experience at a technology company a plus.
• Experience supporting global clients a plus.
• J.D. degree.
• Active bar and good standing.
• Epiq Counsel partners with industry-leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model.
Support our technology clients with the following responsibilities:
• Structure, draft, review, negotiate, and interpret critical contracts, including but not limited to cloudPaaS, IaaS, and XaaS-focused services agreements and development agreements.
• Provide strategic legal advice on product development, deployment, and management of cloud-based products and services.
• Partner with and advise business units and clients directly, providing guidance and practical solutions.
• Collaborate with peers and leaders in legal department and client business units, among others, ensure project and deal outcomes align with priorities, support company goals, comply with legal requirements, and adequately mitigate enterprise risk.
