Job title: Lead Transcriber QA Company: Telus Job description: Description and Requirements WORK LOCATION: Anywhere in the United States WORK SCHEDULE: Mon-Sun, flexible hours JOB STATUS: Part-time, Temporary, Freelance JOB DURATION: 10 - 12 weeks START DATE: ASAP Number of Resources: 10 Rate: $56.00 for each completed set of transcriptions (approximately $18/hour) Project Summary The focus of this study is to generate audio recordings on a mobile device using a list of provided prompts. Our transcription team will be responsible for transcribing each set of recorded prompts and providing quality assurance. Role Summary The Lead Transcriber role is the most critical of the transcription role. The Lead Transcriber is responsible for reviewing transcriptions made by other transcribers, providing quality assurance, and producing a definitive transcription. The Lead transcriber will report directly to the Project Coordinator and Project Manager. Main Responsibilities • Review transcriptions on the AI platform • Provide quality assurance for audio files • Transcribe audio files on the AI platform • Communicate with the production team Minimum Requirements • Comfortable working as part of a dynamic production team • High level of writing proficiency • Ability to listen to and accurately transcribe audio recordings • Native speaker of U.S. English • Comfortable learning to use new technology • Ability to manage time effectively • Flexibility - be available to work flexible hours • Detail-oriented APPLY TODAY!
