Trading Operations - Analyst / Associate

GSR is a leading market-making and programmatic trading company in the digital assets sector. As a Trading Operations Analyst / Associate, you will ensure the smooth execution of trades and gain exposure to the full trade lifecycle in a dynamic cryptocurrency environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the full trade lifecycle including booking, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation of digital asset transactions
• Monitor positions, balances, and exposures to ensure data integrity and operational accuracy
• Identify and resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, and margin issues efficiently
• Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to maintain smooth daily operations
• Oversee cash and collateral movements across exchanges and custodians
• Produce and interpret operational and risk reports to support decision-making and trading efficiency
• Assist with process documentation, workflow automation, and control improvement initiatives
• Build knowledge of crypto exchange infrastructure, DeFi protocols, and market structure

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated interest in cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, or trading systems
• Strong analytical and numerical ability; able to work confidently with data
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python, SQL, or similar analytical tools is an advantage
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks
• Clear communicator, comfortable working with cross-functional global teams
• Flexible and willing to adjust to the needs of a global trading environment, including weekend coverage when required
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn about the intersection of finance and technology
