To Apply for this Job Click Here Title: VP Commercial Real Estate Loan Closing Location: Remote | Team: Servicing & Originations | Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented candidate to support the closing and funding of commercial real estate and construction loans. This role is part of the Servicing team and works closely with Origination, Legal, Finance, and Middle Office to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant loan execution. The ideal candidate has strong execution skills and will coordinate key closing activities, with the opportunity to grow into broader deal oversight and external engagement. Key Responsibilities • Manage loan closings, coordinating with borrowers, internal teams, external counsel, and capital sleeves. • Prepare internal booking forms and ensure accurate trade entries across platforms (DealCloud, Thinkfolio, Everest). • Support due diligence tracking, KYC, and third-party coordination. • Monitor funding process, assist with flow of funds, and ensure compliance requirements are met. • Follow up on executed and recorded loan documents post-closing. Role Breakdown (Typical allocation; varies by deal cycle) • 50% Deal coordination • 20% Booking and trade support • 20% Third-party documentation (KYC, DD) • 10% Funding and asset management coordination Deal Volume & Exposure • ~25 loan closings per quarter (primarily new originations) • Mix of transitional, construction, senior, and occasional mezzanine loans • All balance sheet lending (no securitized deals) Qualifications • 4–6 years of CRE loan closing experience • Strong knowledge of loan docs, funding mechanics, and basic credit concepts • Bachelor’s degree (top-tier university preferred) • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint • Organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple deals in a fast-paced setting Team & Tools • Team of 25+ investment professionals in NYC, plus asset management support in LA, SF, and London • Tools: DealCloud, Thinkfolio, Everest, RealInsight • Reports to Head of Asset Management or Origination Partner (TBD) To Apply for this Job Click Here Apply tot his job
