Zabbix Monitoring Specialist - Elgebra

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Zabbix Monitoring Specialist with hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and integrating Zabbix across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and deploying monitoring solutions, ensuring system reliability, and integrating Zabbix with other ITSM and infrastructure tools. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end implementation of Zabbix monitoring solutions. Configure Zabbix servers, proxies, agents, templates, and dashboards. Integrate Zabbix with third-party tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Splunk, Grafana). Develop custom scripts and templates for advanced monitoring use cases. Optimize performance and scalability of Zabbix infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to monitoring and alerting. Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams to define monitoring requirements. Document configurations, processes, and best practices. Required Skills & Experience: 4+ years of experience with Zabbix implementation and administration. Strong understanding of Zabbix architecture and components. Experience in integrating Zabbix with ITSM tools and other monitoring platforms. Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.). Familiarity with SNMP, JMX, IPMI, and other monitoring protocols. Knowledge of networking concepts and system performance metrics. Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Zabbix Certified Specialist or Professional. Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
