Title: Journey Level App/Dev Location: Washington Job Description: Work Schedule, Location & Travel Expectations The following expectations on work schedule, work location, and travel expectations: • Monday through Friday or Monday through Thursday, up to forty (40) hours per week with some options for flex schedule but ensuring at least six hours a day align with WSDOT's standard operating hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 PM Pacific Standard Time or Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 PM Pacific Standard Time. • Work remotely from the candidate's home office within the United States. • Occasional travel to other WSDOT locations may be required (this travel will be reimbursable in alignment with current state and agency travel policies). Mandatory & Desirable Knowledge and/or Skills Mandatory: • 4+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience developing applications • 4+ years of experience developing applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC architecture pattern, and Entity Framework • 4+ years of experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, Reporting Services • Experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS • Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio IDE • Experience using/knowledge of Azure DevOps including source control, code review, build and release pipelines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desirable: • Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field • Experience with Microsoft Access and VBA • Experience / understanding of ETL such as SSIS • Experience developing with jQuery, Knockout, Bootstrap or Vue.js • Knowledge of Esri ArcGIS • Ability to successfully work independently and in a team environment • Proven track record of organizing and managing complex data projects from planning through execution • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail • Excellent documentation and organizational skills Apply tot his job
