Lead, Supply Chain
Job Title: Lead, Supply Chain Brand: TruSkin (Wellbeam Consumer Health) Reports To: SVP Supply Chain & Operations Location: Remote Role Overview The Lead of Supply Chain is a senior leadership role responsible for end-to-end supply chain execution for the TruSkin brand, spanning demand planning, sourcing, contract manufacturing, inventory management, logistics, and S&OP. This leader will ensure a scalable, cost-effective, and resilient supply chain that supports TruSkin’s rapid growth across DTC, Amazon, and retail channels—without compromising product quality, service levels, or brand integrity. This role will partner closely with Commercial, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, and Product Development teams and will be a key contributor to enterprise transformation initiatives within a private-equity-owned, performance-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership • Own the end-to-end supply chain strategy for TruSkin, aligned with growth, margin, and service objectives. • Translate brand growth plans into executable supply, capacity, and inventory strategies. • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team across planning, procurement, and logistics. Demand, Supply & S&OP • Lead demand planning and forecasting in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance. • Own the monthly S&OP process, ensuring alignment across demand, supply, inventory, and financial plans. • Proactively identify supply risks and implement mitigation plans. Sourcing & Contract Manufacturing • Manage and optimize contract manufacturing partners for skincare and topical products. • Negotiate contracts, pricing, MOQs, and capacity commitments to support growth and margin expansion. • Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure GMP compliance and supplier performance. Inventory & Working Capital Management • Optimize inventory levels across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. • Balance service level performance with working capital efficiency. • Drive continuous improvement in inventory turns, obsolescence, and forecast accuracy. Logistics & Fulfillment • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, 3PL performance, and freight optimization. • Ensure high OTIF performance across DTC, Amazon, and retail customers. • Lead cost-reduction initiatives across transportation and warehousing. Cross-Functional & Executive Partnership • Serve as a trusted business partner to Finance, Commercial, Product, and Quality leaders. • Support new product launches, reformulations, and packaging changes from a supply readiness perspective. • Provide clear, data-driven updates to executive leadership on risks, performance, and opportunities. Continuous Improvement & Systems • Drive process excellence using data, KPIs, and root-cause analysis. • Lead or support ERP, planning system, and supply chain digitization initiatives. • Embed best practices suitable for a scaled, PE-backed consumer health organization. Key Performance Indicators • Forecast accuracy & service levels (OTIF) • Inventory turns & working capital • Cost of goods & freight as % of sales • Supplier performance & quality metrics • S&OP effectiveness and plan adherence Qualifications & Experience Required • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field. • 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience. • Proven experience in consumer products (beauty, skincare, personal care, OTC, or CPG preferred). • Deep expertise in demand planning, contract manufacturing, inventory management, and logistics. • Experience operating in a fast-growth, PE-owned or performance-driven environment. • Strong financial acumen and ability to link supply chain decisions to P&L outcomes. Preferred • Experience supporting Retail, B2B, DTC, TikTok and Amazon channels. • Exposure to regulated products (OTC, cosmetics, or consumer health). • MBA or advanced degree. • ERP and advanced planning system experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, etc.).
