Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Licensed Therapist & Counselor to.As a Licensed Therapist & Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals facing various challenges. Key Responsibilities• Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.• Individualized Treatment Plans: Create and implement tailored plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring that each client receives the support they need to achieve their goals. • Crisis Intervention: Provide critical support to clients in urgent situations, utilizing your expertise to de-escalate crises and ensure client safety. • Collaboration with Medical Professionals: Work closely with medical teams to ensure comprehensive care, including medication management and psychopharmacology. • Addiction Counseling: Provide specialized support to clients struggling with substance use disorders, helping them to overcome addiction and achieve lasting recovery.• Applied Behavior Analysis: Utilize ABA techniques to modify maladaptive behaviors and support clients in achieving their goals. • Data Analysis and Research: Collect and analyze data related to client progress and treatment effectiveness, staying up-to-date on best practices in the field. • Holistic Approach: Address gender issues, work with individuals with disabilities, and provide tailored support to ensure that each client receives comprehensive care. Requirements and QualificationsEssentialQualifications:• Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.• Licensure: Current licensure or certification as a Therapist in accordance with state regulations (LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-C, LCPC, LPC, LMHC, LCPC, PhD, PsyD). • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in mental health counseling. • Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues. PreferredQualifications:• Experience in Crisis Intervention: Previous experience in crisis intervention and working with diverse populations.• Familiarity with Psychopharmacology: Knowledge of psychopharmacology, addiction counseling, and applied behavior analysis. • Supervision for Licensure: For Master's Degree level candidates working towards state licensure, we offer supervision that can be put towards licensure for LCSW and LPC associates.
