Live Chat Agent - REMOTE (Part-Time & Full-Time)

We are looking for a friendly, tech-savvy, and customer-focused Live Chat Agent to join our remote support team. In this role, you will assist customers through live chat and messaging platforms, answering questions, resolving issues, and providing a positive customer experience. This position requires strong written communication skills, patience, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to customer inquiries via live chat, messaging apps, and email (if needed) Provide accurate, clear, and helpful information regarding products, services, orders, and troubleshooting Identify customer needs and guide them to appropriate solutions Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams or supervisors Maintain professionalism and empathy in all customer interactions Document customer interactions and update internal systems as required Meet performance metrics such as response times, chat volume, and customer satisfaction scores Collaborate with team members and share insights to improve workflows and customer experience Stay up to date on product knowledge, policies, and system updates Qualifications Previous customer service experience preferred (chat support experience is a plus) Excellent written communication skills with proper grammar, spelling, and clarity Ability to handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset Comfortable learning new software, tools, and processes Reliable internet connection and remote work setup Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus Preferred Skills Experience with CRM or help desk platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk) Familiarity with e-commerce, SaaS, or technical support environments Ability to work with minimal supervision in a remote environment Typing speed of 40+ WPM (or higher) Work Schedule Part-Time: 10–25 hours per week Full-Time: 30–40 hours per week Flexible scheduling options depending on business needs May include occasional evenings, weekends, or holidaysCompensation Competitive hourly rate based on experience Opportunities for bonuses or performance incentives Potential for advancement into senior support or supervisory rolesRemoteAbout the Company:Trinity Health System Apply tot his job
