At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on!THE ROLE:We are seeking a Staff Accountant II for the Live Nation Concerts division, a segment of the Live Nation live music business. This person must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to multitask. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:Accounting Operations• Perform JV bank reconciliations and prepare final reconciliation packages for approval• Facilitate clearing of bank reconciliation items and prepare/post related journal entries• Assist with payroll journal entries for venues using Simphony and ABI timekeeping systems• Reconcile balance sheet accounts for JV management company, including payroll and banking accounts• Reconcile accounts to the General Ledger and ensure balances are properly supportedJoint Venture Support• Assist with reconciliation of internal LN balances to be cash settled with JV partners• Support invoicing, payment processing, and collection of balances due on internal LN accounts• Research and resolve outstanding AP items for the JV groupMonth-End Close & Reporting• Support month-end close processes, including posting standard entries and accruals• Assist with internal and external audit requests• Support venue Accountants/Managers with venue-specific tasks, including F&B inventory, show flashes, IHBO, TM, and capital expendituresCompliance• Maintain adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)• Follow company policies and procedures in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements• Complete additional projects as assigned by the DirectorWHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRINGRequired• Bachelor's degree in Business with advanced Accounting/Finance coursework• 3-5 years of related accounting experience• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines independently• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interaction with executive management• Advanced Excel proficiency• Experience with enterprise-level General Ledger software (Oracle preferred)• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed• Appreciation for diverse cultures, music, and art formsPreferred• Corporate accounting experience with a publicly traded company• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance• Food & Beverage accounting experience• Project accounting experienceWork Environment• Remote position with occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work requiredBENEFITS & PERKSOur motto is ‘Taking Care ofOur Own’ through 6 pillars of benefits:HEALTH: Medical, vision, dental and mental health benefits for you and your family, with access to a health care concierge, and Flexible or Health Savings Accounts (FSA or HSA)YOURSELF: Free concert tickets, generous paid time off including paid holidays, sick time, and personal daysWEALTH: 401(k) program with company match, stock reimbursement programFAMILY: New parent programs including caregiver leave and baby bonuses, plus fertility, adoption, foster, or surrogacy supportCAREER:Career and skill development programs with School of Live, tuition reimbursement, and student loan repaymentOTHERS: Volunteer time off, crowdfunding matchEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYWe aspire to build teams that reflect and support the fans and artists we serve.Every day we aim to promote environments where everyone can be themselves, contribute fully, and thrive within our company and at our events.
