In this role, an M&A Advisor will have the opportunity to work directly with senior leaders at our firm, participate in all aspects of our business and work closely with management teams at our portfolio companies. Please note that this is a 1099 contractor role, and no base salary is provided. Responsibilities:Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial informationConduct industry and company due diligencePrepare and review pitch/business origination materials and other presentations: develop and review pitches and other presentations and be an integral part of the team in delivering these presentationsPrepare and review information memoranda and other transaction documents: draft key marketing and key transaction related documentsDrive transaction execution, from the pitch phase through marketing and closing of a transactionPerform valuation and ad hoc financial analysisAssist in the marketing and execution of existing engagementsBuild relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients and professional advisorsCommunicate effectively with all members of the teamAssist in business developmentPreferredQualifications:Excellent attention to detailSelf-starter with strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReady to assume a high level of responsibilityAdvanced knowledge of accounting and financeExtensive financial modeling and valuation experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong financial and computer skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)Undergraduate degree, MBA preferredPrior Investment Banking analyst experience and/or hands-on M&A experience preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple project deliverables simultaneouslyLegally authorized to work in the United StatesCurrently holds a FINRA Series 63 plus a Series 79 or 82 license or willingness to obtain necessary licensesThis is a commission only role, no base: Competitive splits on success feesApply tot his job
