Market Research Analyst
BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is hiring a Market Research Analyst to provide research and analysis in support of key enterprise priorities. In this fully remote role on our Brand Management team, you’ll combine technical proficiency with creative thinking in support of the 3.4 million members and communities we serve. In addition to Excel fluency and experience in proven quantitative and qualitative research, our ideal candidates will bring: • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and visualization tools (like Qualtrics, SPSS, R, Databricks, Tableau) • A foundation in social science research methods and empirical statistics, ideally with an academic background in sociology or psychology • Exposure to and interest in leveraging generative and/or agentic AI to enhance work • Advanced critical‑thinking skills to creatively capture member/consumer feedback and communicate insights to internal teams We’ll be excited to hear about your experiences with consumer/product research, data collection/analysis/visualization tools, and leveraging AI to enhance workflows. Job Responsibilities Conducting opinion research to determine public support for additional product prospects, advertising, brand reputation and customer experience. Analyzing competitors' products, prices, sales, and methods of marketing to determine the advisability of adding new lines of merchandise and operations. Collecting data regarding competitors' products, prices, sales, and methods of marketing, as well as methods and procedures for obtaining their data. Job Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment Experience 1 year - Experience in marketing, marketing research, data analysis, or related field required 1 year - Experience in proven quantitative and qualitative research required SkillsCertifications Research tool development including survey writing and discussion guides.
