Description:Position OverviewThe National Logistics Manager plays a key role in Waiakea’s growth by leading all freight execution, transportation strategy, and national logistics operations across our mainland 3PL network, ecommerce distribution channels, ocean freight partners, parcel providers, and LTL/FTL carriers. This role oversees daily logistics execution across the U.S. and collaborates closely with Supply Chain Operations, Inventory Control, Hawaii Operations, and our Logistics Coordinators to ensure product availability and delivery excellence.This position reports directly to the VP of Supply Chain. WaiakeaBenefits:• Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water offers competitive pay that is direct-deposited semi-monthly• Annual sick, personal and vacation leave• 100% premiums paid for Employee + Dependent(s) HMSA health/vision/prescription/dental insurance• FSA & Dependent Care FSA with $500 annual employer contribution• $100 annual gym membership through HMSA Active & Fit• Term Life Insurance• Employee Assistance Program• Up to $300 monthly child care reimbursement• Traditional or Roth 401k with up to a 5% employer match & more!Essential Job Functions:• Transportation & Freight Execution: Lead daily tendering, routing, tracking, and shipment execution across all transportation modes. • Carrier Management, bolthires Optimization & Budget Ownership: Manage carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and optimize transportation performance while owning the national freight budget, bolthires-per-case metrics, and lane-level profitability to drive year-over-year freight bolthires reductions. • Network Logistics Strategy: Support inventory flow, multi-node replenishment, load consolidation, mode optimization, and routing improvements across the national network.• Logistics Systems, Data & Reporting: Utilize Shipwell TMS, SPS Commerce, Celigo, and NetSuite to manage freight execution, visibility, data accuracy, and compliance. • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Operations, Sales, and 3PL partners to meet customer delivery requirements and resolve logistics issues. • Team Leadership: Provide daily functional direction to Logistics Coordinators and support SOP development, training, and continuous improvement. • The ideal candidate will drive world-class OTIF performance, optimize national freight bolthires, and strengthen Waiakea’s logistics network as we scale.OtherDuties:• Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Schedule:The ideal candidate will be available to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm PST, and occasional weekends as needed.Days and times may vary. Location:Remote (West Coast preferred, but open to qualified candidates in all U.S. states). Minimal travel may be required.
