We’re passionate about ensuring every employee at ZigZag has the best possible employee experience. We’re here to support employees – they’re our clients! You’ll have the opportunity to help shape our processes, philosophies and culture. RequirementsThis role is part-time and the equivalent of 3 days (24 hours) a week and we're flexible about when those hours are worked throughout the week.What you’ll be doing:Employee LifecycleManage all employee life-cycle processes including, onboarding, benefits, probation and offboardingEnsure all right to work checks are completed and up to dateIssue all employee documentation, including contracts and amendment lettersSupport the administration of company benefitsSupport with the running of our review cycles, such a performance reviews and salary reviewsSupport with employment relations cases and processesHelp to create and maintain all People & Culture policies and philosophies, touching on all aspects on the employee journeySupport with creating, rolling out and managing culture and culture change initiatives, ensuring we are being intentional about harnessing and preserving our great working culture as we growSupport for EmployeesBe the first point of contact for employees, providing day-to-day support for any queries or concerns they may have around pay, policies and process etc.Listen to employees, collecting their feedback on culture and processes, suggesting ways in which we can improve based on theseSupport employees in the visa application processConstantly looking to improving our workflows and processes, making full use of our HRIS and other tools to help automate processesBuild and produce reports to keep track of people metricsProduce and upload reports for salary benchmarkingPeople Data and ReportingMaintain our HRIS, HiBoB ensuring our is always up to date and employees files and documentationConstantly looking to improving our workflows and processes, making full use of our HRIS and other tools to help automate processesProduce and upload reports for salary benchmarkingBuild and produce reports to keep track of people metricsWhat you’ll need to be successful:1-2 years previous experience in HR or People OpsGenuinely care about people and their employment experienceAbility to take initiative, be autonomous and get stuff doneA positive and solution focused approach to problem solvingAbility to work well with ambiguity and turn ideas into practical processes and clear philosophiesEmotional intelligence and the ability to treat difficult conversations and sensitive situations with careA sincere and professional approach, always being honest, ethical and fairGreat communication skills – one of our key roles as people team is to build trust and deliver clear and consistent messaging to employees of all levelsBenefits24 days holidays + bank holidays + additional day holiday after every full year of service (up to 5 additional days)Flexible work options – fully remote or hybrid options – depending on your location (our office hub is in London)Flexible working hours – to provide work life balancePension PlanBUPA Private Medical InsuranceEmployee referral bonus schemeApply tot his job
