Program Director & Principal Engineer - Connectivity & Data for Cancer Treatment - Twin Cities Medical Tech - Permanent OpportunitiesMy client is expanding their connectivity and data team and has two critical openings. These roles will help build the next generation of connected medical systems-where devices, data, and digital platforms work together to improve patient care. The company is based in the Twin Cities northwest metro area, and these positions are fully onsite-an all-hands-on-deck environment where collaboration drives innovation.Principal Engineer - Connectivity & DataThis role is perfect for someone who loves solving complex technical challenges and turning ideas into real-world solutions. You'll lead the development of connectivity features and data capabilities for a market-approved capital equipment platform used in cancer treatment. What You'll Be Doing:• Take user needs and turn them into engineering solutions that work. • Lead feasibility efforts and guide design and development for new connectivity features. • Work with external software partners and internal teams to keep projects moving and aligned.• Define data requirements and analytics for device and treatment session data. • Ensure everything meets regulatory standards and quality requirements. What We're Looking For:• 10+ years in medical device product development with strong software engineering experience. • Hands-on experience with complex systems and connectivity features. • Proven success driving features through verification and validation for regulatory approval. • Strong technical leadership and ability to manage cross-functional teams.Program Director - Connectivity & DataThis is a strategic leadership role for someone who can see the big picture and make it happen. You'll own the roadmap for connectivity and data across the company's portfolio and ensure devices, apps, and cloud systems work together seamlessly. What You'll Be Doing:• Define and drive the long-term strategy for connectivity and data. • Oversee programs that span hardware, firmware, cloud, and analytics. • Make sure data flows securely and efficiently from devices to digital platforms.• Set standards for interoperability, cybersecurity, and compliance. • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to deliver connected solutions.
