Project Manager (Operations & Strategic Initiatives)

This role is intentionally flexible and will evolve over time as the company scales. You will manage internal projects, support operational improvements, and temporarily own client-facing or account management responsibilities as needed. In the early stages, you may manage accounts or specific operational tasks until they are transitioned to dedicated team members. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-growing environment, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and enjoys building structure where none previously existed. What You’ll Do Project & Initiative Management • Own and manage cross-functional projects from planning through execution • Partner with the COO and Director of Operations to prioritize, track, and deliver initiatives • Coordinate across billing, customer support, onboarding, development, and accounting teams • Create timelines, documentation, and workflows to support scalable execution • Identify risks, blockers, and opportunities for improvement and proactively address them Operational Support • Assist in improving internal processes, systems, and documentation • Help define, track, and report on project outcomes and operational KPIs • Support operational audits and quality control efforts • Step in to own operational tasks until they can be delegated or automated Account & Client Support (As Needed) • Temporarily manage client accounts or billing workflows during transitions or growth phases • Support client communications and issue resolution related to billing or operations • Perform account audits to ensure accuracy and compliance • Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure smooth handoffs Skills You’ll Need to Bring • 1–3 years of experience in project management, operations, account management, or a similar role • Exceptional organization and attention to detail — accuracy is critical • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment • Comfort working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Meet) and project/task management tools • Strong written and verbal communication skills • High level of ownership and follow-through Nice to haves: • You've been an early hire at a fast-growing company before • You’ve had professional experience in Fintech and/or Proptech • You’ve had experience or a working knowledge of Utility Billing • You have experience or good working knowledge of the Property Management or Multi-family Real Estate industry What You'll Achieve: • You will play a critical role in ensuring we build a highly efficient billing department while partnering across the business to ensure our systems and processes are running smoothly.
