Rails Dev for Embedded Shopify App
Description:This is the first of two scoped jobs to complete a Rails-based embedded Shopify app. You'll be responsible for finalizing UX polish and onboarding logic. This includes:- Fixing flash messaging inside Polaris layouts- Wiring up “Don’t show again” CTAs on certain resources (including backend logic)- Adding a minimal UI to activate/deactivate other resourcesYou’ll also complete the onboarding flow:- Collecting the merchant's public email and audit email recipients- Enforcing “one audit at a time” logic and action cable powered progression barThe project uses Polaris ViewComponents, standard RESTful controllers, and embedded app conventions via `shopify_app`.Patterns and services are in place — you’re expected to extend, not rewrite. If things go smoothly, a second scoped job will follow to implement new async scan types and deeper audit intelligence.
