Job Description:The PositionMichael Best & Friedrich LLP’s growing Real Estate Practice is looking to add aSenior Real Estate Attorney to any of our Chicago, Denver, Raleigh, or Salt Lake City offices. The attorney will serve as a business advisor to clients, guiding them in a full range of legal matters throughout their life cycle. In this role, the partner will handle all aspects of complex real estate transactions for clients of all sizes and across industries. The partner will also have the opportunity to gain direct client interaction, business development experience, and significant responsibility for complex and sophisticated legal matters.The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:• Complex real estate developments• Real estate financing transactions• Real estate acquisitions and dispositions• Commercial lease transactions• Zoning, land use, and condominiumsA minimal portable book of business is preferred but not required. For Colorado applicants only (as required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act):The starting salary for associate positions in our Denver office is $190,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area.Associates are eligible to participate in Michael Best’s associate bonus program, subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions. This position is considered full-time and is therefore eligible to participate in employer-sponsored benefits, including: medical, dental, vision, as well as elective/voluntary life, disability, and accident coverage.
