[Remote] Azure AKS Architect (DevOps)

Note:The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Infinite Ranges is at the forefront of deploying and implementing application modernization and DevSecOps solutions. They are seeking a senior Azure AKS Architect (DevOps) to design and automate a production-grade Kubernetes environment for IBM MQ Native HA deployments, collaborating with an MQ SME to ensure a reliable AKS platform for enterprise applications. Responsibilities• Architecting Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including networking, storage classes, RBAC, and security.• Designing and implementing IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. • Building bolthires/CD or GitOps workflows (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD/Flux). • Supporting MQ SME in deploying containerized IBM MQ workloads on AKS. • Creating deployment pipelines for MQ operators, ingress, DNS, and TLS. • Implementing best practices for containerization, secrets management, and workload security. • Validating deployments, automation workflows, and operational readiness. • Developing documentation, runbooks, and operational guides.Skills• Proven experience architecting and deploying AKS clusters in enterprise environments. • Strong background in Kubernetes (concepts, deployments, services, ingress, scaling). • Hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, Bicep, ARM). • Strong understanding of cloud networking (VNETs, subnets, private endpoints). • Experience building bolthires/CD pipelines and GitOps-based deployment models. • Comfort working in cross-functional teams with SMEs, cloud engineers, and application owners. • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across Azure + Kubernetes layers.• Experience deploying operators (IBM MQ Operator or similar)• Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)• Knowledge of container security or RBAC hardening• Experience with OpenShift in addition to AKS• Experience supporting messaging or middleware workloadsCompany Overview• Infinite Ranges is an IT company that offers cyber security and other security solutions for organizations.
