[Remote] Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, Manufacturing

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM) is the largest independent full-line manufacturer of custom power distribution systems in North America. The Business Intelligence Developer will partner with the BI team to enhance analytics capabilities across manufacturing operations by developing data pipelines and reporting tools, and providing real-time data solutions via Tableau dashboards. Responsibilities • Develop data pipelines and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights on throughput, downtime, cycle time, scrap rates, inventory, on-time delivery, backlog, capacity analysis and other key manufacturing metrics • Work closely with plant managers, operations leaders, and engineering teams to understand production workflows and provide real-time data solutions via Tableau dashboards • Build, maintain, and optimize data models integrating ERP, MES, and shop floor systems with Snowflake and ETL tools • Lead Tableau training sessions tailored to manufacturing and operations staff, driving data literacy and dashboard adoption • Continuously refine BI solutions to support lean initiatives, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making Skills • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field • 3+ years of BI experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting • Advanced Tableau experience, including manufacturing KPI dashboards and visual storytelling • Proficiency with SQL, Snowflake, and ETL processes; familiarity with ERP and MES data sources is a plus • Strong communication skills and the ability to work hands-on with operations and engineering teams • Problem-solving mindset with experience turning raw shop-floor data into business insights Benefits • A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package • The full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits Company Overview • Industrial Electric Mfg. is an electronic manufacturing company that provides electrical distribution equipment.
