American Unit, Inc is seeking a Data Visualization Specialist to design, develop, and maintain visually compelling dashboards and reports. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators and analyzing datasets to uncover insights and trends. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain visually compelling and user-friendly dashboards and reports using Qlik Cloud / Qlik Sense • Partner with business and program stakeholders to identify KPIs, metrics, and analytical needs • Analyze datasets using statistical methods to uncover trends, patterns, anomalies, and insights • Collaborate with data engineers to collect, clean, validate, and optimize data from multiple sources • Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across reporting solutions • Interpret analytical results and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences • Support optimization of data storage, retrieval, and reporting processes • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members • Promote best practices in data visualization, analytics, and reporting Skills • 3–5 years of experience in data visualization and data analysis • Strong experience gathering, cleaning, and preparing data from multiple sources • Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques • Experience translating business requirements into technical and analytical solutions • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality work independently • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Qlik Sense or Qlik Cloud • Experience using Alteryx • Experience with Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar SQL/data tools • 3+ years of experience working with environmental or scientific data (water quality, environmental science, or related domains) Company Overview • Company Size: 500 to 1000 employees.
