This position is ideal for a Medical Assistant who is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about helping patients better manage chronic conditions through daily remote monitoring.We offer a positive, growth-focused work environment with the opportunity for this part-time role to transition into a full-time position based on performance and company needs. Key Responsibilities• Review patient's vitals remotely on a daily basis• Contact and speak with patients on a daily basis• Understand and follow all current Florida RPM Services policies, procedures, and workflows related to this role. • Serve as a point of contact to assist physicians, physician office staff, and patients with RPM-related questions.• Send timely reports regarding patient status to physicians or their designated staff as needed. • Prepare and send required documentation to physician offices for inclusion in patient records. • Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of RPM monitoring devices, insurance guidelines, patient eligibility, and reimbursement processes. • Provide accurate daily and weekly status reports of monitored patients to the direct supervisor. • Encourage and support patients in submitting their daily vital sign readings in accordance with their care plan.• Notify the direct supervisor and physician office when patients fall outside normal threshold ranges. • Notify the direct supervisor and physician office when patients fail to submit daily vital readings. • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations. • Support Florida RPM Services in achieving growth, quality, and financial performance goals. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications• Experience in healthcare, care coordination, or patient support is preferred (RPM experience a plus).• Strong communication skills—both verbal and written. • Comfortable speaking with patients of varying ages and health literacy levels. • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow established procedures. • Basic understanding of medical terminology and vital signs is helpful. • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new platforms and monitoring systems. • Must be organized, professional, and detail-oriented.
