[Remote] Principal Engineer - Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA)

The Principal Engineer for Risk Analysis will perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments for nuclear power plant systems, ensuring evaluation of vulnerabilities and supporting both domestic and international operations. Responsibilities• Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for complex nuclear power plant systems, evaluate a plant's potential vulnerability• Support domestic and international operating plants, and new reactors in design phase• Lead global teams by contributing to technical scope execution serving as author, mentor and verifier, supporting meeting schedule and financial goals• Present technical topics and interface with global customers and regulatory bodies• Identify projects, develop product offerings, and pursue target product market• Develop Innovation products from conception through marketing and delivery• Mentor engineers and lead plans for knowledge management and retentionSkills• 10+ years of experience• Minimum 7 years' PRA Model development applied to nuclear plants• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Nuclear or equivalent• Knowledge of PWR reactor operations• In addition to basic Risk and Hazard skills, you have a knowledge of:• Internal/External Hazards PRAs• Level 2 PRAs• Human Reliability Analysis (HRA)• Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs)Company Overview• Westinghouse Electric Company provides innovative and secure nuclear technology solutions.It was founded in 1886, and is headquartered in Cranberry, Pennsylvania, USA, with a workforce of 5001-10000 employees.
