[Remote] Principal Salesforce Architect/Developer

They are seeking a Principal Salesforce Architect/Developer to architect and develop Salesforce solutions based on business needs while collaborating closely with business partners and product teams. Responsibilities • Architect and personally develop Salesforce solutions based on business needs • Translate complex business processes into scalable, secure, and supportable Salesforce solutions • Collaborate closely with business partners and product teams, especially those based in Florida • Participate in and lead early morning meetings (starting at 8:00 AM ET) • Ensure integration designs are robust and account for platform limitations • Own architectural decisions and communicate rationale based on experience and best practices • Work independently within the Salesforce ecosystem—this is not a purely advisory role • Act as a strategic thinker and problem-solver with a high level of ownership • Deliver high-quality development work aligned with architectural vision • Navigate a culture that values professionalism, accountability, and defensible technical decisions • Occasional travel (1–2 times per year) Skills • Deep expertise in Salesforce architecture and scalable solution design • Hands-on Salesforce development experience (60–70% development, 30–40% architecture) • Experience architecting Salesforce integrations and managing API/governor limits • Strong business process understanding and 'why-curious' mindset • Ability to design solutions that mitigate long-term technical debt (e.g., preventing API exhaustion) Company Overview • Covenant HR is a recruitment and consulting firm that offers staffing and placement services.
