Key Responsibilities• Research and correct pertinent information for outstanding accounts receivable, including patient demographics, insurance information, UB/1500 claim form details, and provider information. • Prepare and submit clean claims to various insurance companies electronically or by paper, and resolve claim holds and denials.• Verify patient benefits, eligibility, and coverage as needed, and maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. • Report barriers to billing and claim reimbursement using our company-defined Cause and Action recording and inventory management tool. • Escalate open claims to your supervisor when resolution is beyond your scope, and provide precise documentation of all actions taken on accounts worked. • Meet client and/or position-specific daily productivity and quality expectations.Essential Qualifications and SkillsTo succeed as aRemote Revenue Cycle Analyst at Amplify, you'll need:• A minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital billing/collections or medical billing (preferred). • A reliable high-speed internet connection to work from home effectively. • Proficiency in billing regulations, claim form requirements, and appeal processes for government and non-government payer sources. • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment with a goal-oriented mindset.• Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
