Responsibilities• Effectively communicate problems, root causes, and proposed solutions to the Analytics team and stakeholders. Demonstrate expertise in data presentation and explain issues to leaders from front‑line workers to C‑suite.Create concise visuals to present data. • Develop and adhere to a cadence of timely reporting and business analysis delivery to stakeholders, including reporting key metrics. Assist management with tracking action plans to ensure timely collection and follow‑up. • Present root‑cause analysis findings with concision and recommendations, following a data‑story format. Guide trainings on Excel or analytic functions for billing members. Apply expertise of the revenue cycle process from claim submission to payment/write‑off to pinpoint inefficiencies and suggest process improvements.• Build data models and dashboards to support consistent, accurate, and timely analysis that improves collections, enhances collection processes, and increases efficiency and automation. • Develop a thorough understanding of reporting systems, billing, and analytics processes, including pay‑or‑specific reimbursement and billing requirements. Proactively identify opportunities for revenue cycle improvement, including trends to resolve denials. • Participate in and, at times, represent Revenue Cycle in ASP meetings and discussions.• Develop relationships with revenue‑cycle vendors to ensure performance and quality meet or exceed set standards. • Measure and recommend improvements in clinically based appeal strategies. • Assist in PAMA reporting for new and existing tests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to the Vice President for regulatory reporting. • Evaluate claim‑processing outcomes to improve the internal bolthires‑estimating engine and provide revenue‑processing recommendations. Qualifications• High school diploma or GED equivalent required• Bachelor’s degree in business, informatics, quantitative field or 3‑5 years of analytics experience required• Fundamental understanding of revenue cycle principles, bottleneck theory, and use of data models to measure and predict process outcomes• Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS coding, DSO reduction, accounts receivable, denial resolution, appeals, HIPAA regulations, and EDI claim‑submission methods• Advanced knowledge of bolthires Excel (cleaning, transforming, merging data; performing complex analysis) and experience with Business Information data tools, Looker, Xifin, and Power BI preferredPhysical RequirementsLifting Requirements – light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently.Physical Requirements – stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, observing, pushing or pulling, and reaching. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
