King's Insurance Staffing is seeking a Senior Middle Market Production Underwriter to join an A+ rated insurance carrier's growing team. The role involves marketing, underwriting, and pricing Middle Market Commercial accounts while developing strong agency relationships and managing a portfolio to drive profitable growth. Responsibilities • Market, underwrite, and price new Middle Market Commercial business in accordance with underwriting guidelines and authority • Analyze risk exposures, coverage needs, pricing, and terms to ensure profitable underwriting decisions • Develop, evaluate, and interpret financial, operational, and loss history information to assess account acceptability • Work closely with producers to solicit new business, manage renewals, and strengthen agency relationships • Conduct regular agency visits to support business development, retention, and portfolio growth • Manage an assigned book of business while achieving production, retention, and loss ratio targets • Monitor market conditions and competitive trends to identify new opportunities and maintain underwriting discipline Skills • 3 - 10+ years of experience underwriting Middle Market Commercial insurance • Strong knowledge of commercial coverages, pricing, and risk evaluation • Proven ability to manage a profitable book of business and work collaboratively with producers • Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills • Bachelor's degree preferred Benefits • Flexible schedule with fully remote work capability • Extremely competitive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance plans • Employer-matching 401(k) • Generous PTO plan Company Overview • King's Insurance Staffing is a premier Staffing and Recruiting Firm that specializes in providing the very best talent across the United States.
