[Remote] Website Sitemap/Content Migration Specialist

The Website Sitemap/Content Migration Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining website sitemaps to enhance user experience and SEO performance, as well as performing content migration and quality assurance for clients. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive website sitemaps based on client requirements Ensure sitemaps accurately reflect website structure, content hierarchy, and navigation flow Communicate with clients to understand their website goals and requirements Present sitemap recommendations and explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner Address client questions and concerns related to website structure and navigation Work closely with web developers, designers, and content creators to ensure sitemaps are implemented effectively Collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines and deliverables Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams Perform timely and accurate content migration (text, images, media, documents) from various source systems into the target Content Management System (CMS) Execute thorough quality assurance (QA) checks on all migrated pages to confirm correct linking, appearance, functionality, and metadata Collaborate closely with developers to identify, log, and resolve content-related bugs and migration issues quickly Skills Some knowledge of website design and HTML/CSS Understanding of website architecture and navigation principles Very familiar with word processing tools like excel, word and power point Ability to analyze website data and identify areas for improvement Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Strong presentation and interpersonal skills Prior experience in website development College Degree or equivalent experience Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is a plus Benefits 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Company OverviewThe Government Website Experts It was founded in 1995, and is headquartered in Troy, Michigan, USA, with a workforce of 51-200 employees.Its website is
