Sales Rep / Business Development for Software Consulting Practice
Seeking a sales representative to find and close software development and cloud architecture projects on Upwork and similar platforms. This is a sales role, NOT a recruiting role. You will be finding companies and clients who need software built or AWS infrastructure work done, then connecting them with me. Services You'll Be Selling:AWS migrations and architecture consultingProduction system diagnostics and recoveryFull-stack development (Go, TypeScript,.NET)API development (REST, SOAP)Database optimization and scalingDevOps/infrastructure workMy Background (what you're selling):15+ years production software experienceAWS Solutions Architect (10+ company migrations)Enterprise systems: telephony, accounting, e-commerceContainerization, scaling, database architectureCompensation Structure:My base rate: $125/hourYour commission: 10% of project valueClient-facing rate: $137.50/hourYourResponsibilities:Find businesses that need software/cloud workInitial client outreach and qualificationProposal drafting (I'll review/approve)Close deals on Upwork, Toptal, direct outreach, etc.Requirements:Experience selling technical servicesBasic understanding of cloud/software terminologyStrong written communicationUpwork or freelance platform experience preferredCommission paid upon client payment.
