Senior Accountant - HybridSchedule: Hybrid (4 days in-office / 1 days remote)Reports To: Accounting Manager / ControllerCompensation: 55,000 - 75,000Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-orientedSenior Accountant to join our accounting team in a hybrid capacity. This role is responsible for complex accounting activities including month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities• Lead and perform month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. • Assist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. • Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support operational goals. • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. • Support process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting operations.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting experience a plus. • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and general ledger accounting. • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal and external stakeholders. Work Environment• Hybrid schedule: Example - 4 days in office, 1 days remote.• Occasional extended hours during month-end, quarter-end, or year-end close.
