Senior Clinical Project Manager/100% remote
Responsible for the management of a variety of projects for corporate and/or strategic business unit (SBU) to achieve clinical and operational goals and objectives. Oversees and ensures alignment with Magellan's Corporate strategic objectives, providing strategic leadership and support through the planning and execution of these projects. Incumbent must be metrics driven to support establishing deadlines, assigning resources/responsibilities and monitoring and summarizing progress of projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, procedures and continuous quality improvement. • Leads and manages on time delivery of clinical and operational projects for the SBU. • Conducts verification and needs assessment of project deliverables. • Meets with leadership, business process owners, and appropriate personnel to identify the project`s goals, objectives, critical success factors, and success measures. • Oversees and coordinates inter-functional and inter-departmental project resources as needed to ensure project delivery in accordance with leadership expectations and success factors.• Develops, implements, and monitors project plan requirements and timelines, ensures all necessary support, tools and technology are available, and follows up as needed. • Provides long-term, business critical project management expertise as needed. • Schedules and leads meetings with SMEs; including capturing meeting minutes and follow-up. • Communicates with Alerts Executive Management of risks and concerns. • Works well with others in a collaborative manner. Other Job RequirementsResponsibilities7+ years of experience in clinical operations, quality, network, and 5+ years in or project management.Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Masters in Behavioral Health or like degree. Project management experience and knowledge of health services required. Proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct, control and monitor project activities. Well developed interpersonal skills. Ability to perform basic financial analysis. Extensive Knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools.
