More information is available at www.crisis24.garda.comRole OverviewAs aSenior Machine Learning Engineer on the AiiA team, you will help build the intelligence backbone of a platform that translates raw signals into decision grade insights for business leaders.AiiA combines open source, proprietary, and operational data streams to surface risks and opportunities. You’ll be the bridge between research and real impact: designing models that power AiiA. You’ll integrate these models inside Palantir Foundry, shaping pipelines, ontologies, and workflows so that outputs land cleanly in upstream apps and executive summaries. Success in this role means you don’t just build models — you deliver actionable, explainable, and reliable intelligence features used by decision makers.You’ll thrive if you enjoy ownership in ambiguity, care about model robustness, and prefer working in high-velocity, outcome-driven environments. Location: Remote, USAKey Responsibilities• Design and implement machine learning models for real-world intelligence applications. • Integrate ML models into Palantir’s Foundry, leveraging ontologies, pipelines, and operational workflows to deliver scalable AI-driven solutions. • Collaborate with the Head of AI to shape technical strategy, model experimentation, and production deployment.• Partner with analysts and software engineers to build end-to-end solutions from data ingestion to applications. • Drive best practices in experimentation, evaluation, and responsible AI principles. • Take ownership across a broad range of engineering tasks, from prototyping to scaling production systems. • Contribute to a culture of innovation, agility, and cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications & ExperienceRequired:• Experience working with LLMs, multimodal models and bringing generative AI based features into production.• Strong expertise in machine learning with a proven track record of building and deploying models. • Solid software engineering foundation in Python and TypeScript. • Experience working with Spark• Experience working in a startup, incubator, or fast-moving innovation environment, comfortable with ambiguity and broad responsibilities. • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication ability, and a bias for action. Nice-to-have:• Experience working with Palantir Foundry, including ontology development, pipelines, and application integration.• Experience in React for front-end development and integrating AI/ML systems with user interfaces. • Background in MLOps practices• Understanding data security, risk intelligence, or global operations domains. • Ability to translate complex technical results into user-facing solutions.
