Job Overview The Senior Manager Product Management - Customer Experience will play a critical role in driving business growth by assessing market needs and inspiring cross-functional product teams to deliver value-driven solutions. This leadership position will focus on guiding and executing the delivery of business value to drive sales, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction through the production of high-quality products. The successful candidate will work closely with teams of developers, designers, and business partners to drive change management and process improvement, leading to the development of top talent and world-class product management teams. Key Responsibilities The Senior Manager Product Management - Customer Experience will be responsible for the following key areas: Strategy & Planning (40%) : Develop and execute product vision and strategies, collaborate across the enterprise to create alignment between products, and prioritize updates to support the enterprise roadmap. Delivery & Execution (30%) : Drive product development, review performance, and direct work efforts of product teams to ensure products are aligned with company, stakeholder, and end-user priorities. People (30%) : Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to Product Managers, attract, retain, and develop top talent, and foster collaboration with team members to drive value and identify and resolve impediments. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following essential qualifications: Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in product management, with a focus on customer experience and driving business growth. Mastery of working as a Product Manager in a modern software development-based enterprise environment and overseeing multiple products. Proficiency in communicating with and influencing functional and technical team members at all levels in the organization. Strong understanding of financial and business impact of proposed product updates and activities within the portfolio. Ability to identify goals, metrics, and analytics to measure product value and make recommendations and refinements to the product based on learnings. Preferred Qualifications The following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: 8+ years of relevant work experience in product management, with a focus on customer experience and driving business growth. Mastery of modern software development product management practices and agile methodologies, specifically the extreme programming (XP) principles of paired programming, test-driven development, and continuous deployment. Proficiency in creating, prioritizing, and accepting user stories, conducting user research and testing to understand needs, and guiding more junior team members through Product Management fundamentals in a professional setting. Strong understanding of competitive research and analysis, with the ability to conduct research and analysis to inform strategic and tactical product decisions. Skills and Competencies The successful candidate should possess the following skills and competencies: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to attract, retain, and develop top talent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members. Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand financial and business impact of proposed product updates and activities within the portfolio. Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment where priorities shift on a regular basis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify goals, metrics, and analytics to measure product value and make recommendations and refinements to the product based on learnings. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits The compensation, perks, and benefits for this role will be competitive and commensurate with experience. The pay range for this position is between $110,000 - $240,000, depending on location and experience.
