Senior Power BI Developer for Live Director-Level Dashboard
Project: Executive Dashboard for Children’s Residential Care Business I run a children’s residential homes business and need a director-level operational and financial dashboard. The dashboard must combine financial performance, occupancy, staffing, cash position, and compliance metrics into a clear executive view with drill-downs per home. Key areas include: Occupancy & capacity (live) Revenue, gross profit, daily & monthly performance Cash position & staffing costs Agency usage & staff ratios Compliance & training status Alerts for risks (low occupancy, high agency spend, overdue compliance) Tools: Prefer Power BI (open to alternatives if justified) Data may come from finance, rota/HR, and care management systems Requirements: Proven Power BI or BI dashboard experience Experience working with operational + financial data Ability to define KPIs and challenge poor assumptions Comfortable working with regulated businesses (care, health, education, etc.) Deliverables: Executive overview dashboard Per-home drill-downs Automated data refresh Clear documentation Please include examples of executive dashboards you’ve built and explain how you approach KPI definition.
