Koniag Technology and Infrastructure Solutions (KTIS) is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect/Developer with specialized expertise in ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM). The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, strategic implementation planning, and enterprise-level solution design with particular emphasis on CSM capabilities. This role is essential in designing scalable, efficient ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives and enhance customer service operations. The ServiceNow Architect/Developer will be responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions with a focus on Customer Service Management. This role combines hands-on development with architectural leadership, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise across ServiceNow modules, strong architectural decision-making skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and platform owners. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: Principal responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Architecture & Platform Design: • Serve as the ServiceNow technical architect, defining platform architecture, design standards, and best practices. • Design scalable, reusable, and secure ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules. • Review and approve technical designs, integrations, and customizations. • Ensure alignment with ServiceNow out-of-the-box capabilities and long-term roadmap. Development & Configuration: • Lead hands-on development using JavaScript, Glide APIs, UI Policies, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Client Scripts. • Configure and customize ServiceNow applications while minimizing technical debt. • Develop and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and third-party systems. • Support upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements. Leadership & Collaboration: • Mentor and guide ServiceNow developers and administrators. • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. • Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards. • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture teams. Governance & Performance: • Ensure platform performance, availability, and security. • Define and maintain development lifecycle processes (CI/CD, source control, testing). • Maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, and integrations. Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience. • 2+ years in ServiceNow Architect or Lead Developer role. • Extensive experience with ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) module. • Certified ServiceNow Developer (preferred). • Proven track record of successful enterprise-level ServiceNow implementations. Required Skills and Competencies: • Comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, capabilities, and limitations. • Extensive experience designing and implementing ServiceNow CSM solutions. • Advanced understanding of ServiceNow data models, security frameworks, and platform capabilities. • Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model, CMDB, and performance optimization. • Strong expertise in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting APIs. • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and practices. • Ability to design scalable solutions that accommodate future growth and requirements. • Experience with ServiceNow performance optimization and platform governance. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide development teams. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences. • Experience with ServiceNow upgrade strategies and release management. • Knowledge of ITIL practices and customer service management principles. • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking. • Experience with enterprise-level requirements gathering and solution design. • Understanding of customer experience design and service delivery principles. Desired Skills and Competencies: • Experience with ServiceNow platform governance in enterprise environments. • Knowledge of ServiceNow AI and machine learning capabilities. • Background in designing solutions for government agencies or regulated industries. • Experience with ServiceNow Field Service Management and related modules. • Knowledge of ServiceNow security best practices and compliance requirements. • Experience with cloud architecture and infrastructure design. • Background in customer experience transformation initiatives. • Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and advanced reporting. • Knowledge of change management methodologies. • Experience with DevOps practices and tools in ServiceNow environments. • Background in service design and service blueprint development. • Experience with micro-services architecture and API-first design approaches. • Knowledge of relevant compliance frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, etc.). • Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning for ServiceNow.
