About the Role We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team and drive product development through robust measurement techniques, experimentation, and analysis. Key Responsibilities Drive product advancement through robust measurement techniques across experimentation, modeling, and analysis, as well as tooling Build strong relationships with stakeholders to shape the vision of a space, whether that is by determining product strategy or defining new metrics Develop experimentation and measurement strategies to increase the speed of projects and support complex decision-making Work with ownership and accountability by ensuring that the team is delivering consistent and high-quality results that impact the decisions and direction of product insight Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to design and implement data pipelines, architectures, and tools Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new methodologies to continuously improve our data science capabilities Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics) At least four years of experience applying statistical and numerical concepts to drive decision-making at scale Strong statistical skills and instinct, with applied experience solving problems in consumer-facing product areas Proficiency in SQL and statistical programming (Python and/or R) Passion for driving product vision and growth strategy by utilizing a wide range of techniques and building strong partnerships with stakeholders Solid product sense to balance between addressing partner or test-specific requirements and investing in flexible solutions to serve general use cases Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical and non-technical concepts to various audiences Comfort with uncertainty; ability to thrive with minimal oversight and interaction Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., master's or Ph.D.) Experience working with large datasets, data warehousing, and cloud-based technologies Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and natural language processing Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and presentation skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
