Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Benefit Eligible Yes Screening Date 2025-12-01 Job Description SummaryThe Slate Marketing Technology Specialist will report to the Director of EMSS Operations and work closely with the University Communications and Marketing (UCM) team in support of recruitment and brand initiatives.Working in close collaboration with operational offices in Enrollment Management and Student Success, this position focuses on creating personalized, data-driven communications and integrating Slate with other marketing technologies, and assuring seamless integration of strategies into the CRM. Job Description Duties and Responsibilities ● Design, develop, and maintain custom Slate CRM portals to support recruitment, admission, and marketing initiatives. ● Build dynamic, hyperpersonalized Slate content using advanced development and techniques for targeted communications.● Collaborate with marketing and admission teams to translate campaign strategies into technical solutions within Slate. ● Manage HTML/CSS/JavaScript development for emails, landing pages, and interactive portal elements, and portal accessibility. ● Create segmentation strategies for delivering hyperpersonalized messaging based on applicant data, behavior, and demographics. ● Collaborate with other technologists and stakeholders to integrate Slate with marketing technology platforms. ● Provide data and reports to inform communication and marketing strategies.● Stay informed on emerging CRM features, marketing technologies, and personalization trends to drive innovation in recruitment communications. ● Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications ● Bachelors degree ● 3 years of experience with database management, relational databases, and database normalization. ● 3 years of experience with marketing CRM systems (e.g., Technolutions Slate, Salesforce). Preferred Qualifications ● 1-3 years of experience with ETL or similar data extraction tools. ● 1-3 years of experience integrating CRM platforms with marketing automation and analytics tools.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ● Proficiency in SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and data-driven personalization techniques. ● Proficiency in using marketing automation systems and data integration techniques. ● Understanding of customer segmentation, email marketing, and personalization techniques. ● Ability to collaborate effectively with creative, marketing, and enrollment staff.
