Slovak–English Translator (QA & Light Localisation) – E-learning Course
We are seeking a Slovak–English language specialist to support the quality assurance (QA) of AI-generated translations for an e-learning course originally written in English. Scope of Work-The primary focus of this role is reviewing and refining AI-generated English → Slovak translations to ensure they are:- Linguistically accurate- Clear and natural for native Slovak speakers- Consistent in tone and terminology- Aligned with the learning objectives of the courseIn addition, there will be limited localisation work (approximately 1–2 sections of the course), where we will ask for:- Light adaptation of examples or phrasing to better resonate with a Slovak audience- Input on Slovakia-specific best practices, where relevant- Cultural or contextual adjustments (not full content rewriting)- Course ContextFormat: Online e-learning courseAudience: AdultsContent focus: Practical, skills-based learningIdeal Candidate- Native or near-native Slovak speaker with strong English proficiency- Experience reviewing or translating educational or training materials- Comfortable working with AI-generated translations- Familiar with the Slovak gig economy or workforce context (preferred)- Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of cultural nuanceIf you enjoy improving educational content and ensuring it feels natural, relevant, and impactful for local learners, we would love to hear from you.Apply tot his job
