SQL DevOps Engineer -- Remote -- W2 Only
Job Title: SQL DevOps Engineer Location: Remote Key Responsibilities • Contribute to the team’s transition toward improved Agile-based delivery practices • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and user story discussions • Develop and execute unit tests for assigned work items • Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and recommend technical solutions • Support projects involving database deployment scripting and release execution • Create and execute pre-deployment and post-deployment scripts • Package, deploy, and release SQL code changes across environments • Take full ownership of assigned user stories after onboarding • Identify and recommend continuous improvements to deployment workflows and DevOps processes Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of experience in SQL Engineering with DevOps responsibilities • Strong hands-on experience with SQL development and database change management • Proven experience with: • Deployment scripting • Post-deployment scripting • Packaging and releasing database/code changes • Ability to work closely with business teams to translate requirements into technical deliverables • Experience working in a hybrid Agile / Waterfall environment • Self-motivated and capable of working independently after initial ramp-up • Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in a fully Agile (end-to-end) development environment • Prior exposure to healthcare payer systems or related healthcare domains • Familiarity with Agile ceremonies and story-driven development workflows Apply tot his job
