You’ll implement advocacy strategies, build relationships with government officials, and represent Enbridge’s interests across multiple states. This position offers a dynamic work environment with flexible scheduling options and opportunities for travel.What You Will Do: Implement advocacy efforts and contribute to the external engagement strategy for Enbridge’s projects and operations. Represent Enbridge with state government officials and entities primarily in Illinois, Indiana, and surrounding states related to current operations and future projects. Coordinate outreach to local government officials with the stakeholder engagement team. Build and maintain strategic relationships with state and local government officials and their staff. Represent Enbridge at industry associations, chambers of commerce, and other professional organizations.See opportunities for corporate donations and sponsorships within the region. Who You Are: Hold a Bachelor’s degree and have at least five years of progressive public affairs or government-related experience. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and facilitation skills. Possess strong public presentation and public speaking abilities. Ability to travel 30% of the time. Committed to finding solutions, adaptable to changing priorities and able to deliver results on time.
