Shortcut is in the middle of an exciting phase in its evolution as we’re repositioning our product in the market to solve key pain points no other existing tool currently can. As a result, we’re looking for a product marketer who can also help build organic brand awareness in the market through co-marketing opportunities, partnerships, influencer & community engagement, press outreach, etc. Our team is small but mighty, and you’ll be supported by a dedicated brand designer, user researcher, and an acquisition marketer.Together with the product team, you’ll help launch Shortcut 2.0 into the marketplace later in Q4 of this year. It’s an exciting opportunity to re-launch a differentiated version of an existing product, driven (and validated) by months of extensive qualitative and quantitative research. What You’ll Achieve• Become the expert on our competitive landscape, industry trends, target personas, and the buyer journey to build differentiated and compelling messaging and positioning. • Collaborate with user research to gather customer and market insights that inform and drive our product and go-to-market strategy.• Build relationships with influencers, journalists, partner organizations, community members, and others that can help spread the word about Shortcut• Drive adoption by developing, leading, and executing go-to-market campaigns in a product-led-growth environment. The ideal candidate will:• Have deep empathy for users and are able to adapt how you communicate to best reach and engage your audience--from developer to CTO. • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills• Be passionate about helping software teams understand that there's a better way to build software with Shortcut• Be keen to learn about how things work and are able to explain technical concepts in ways that everyday people can understand• Thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic, hyper-growth environment and are able to operate fluidly between the 30,000-foot strategy level and the micro-detail to get things rightYou should have:• Have 5+ years of combined product marketing and growth marketing experience• History of productive collaboration with product and sales• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills• Strong critical and analytical thinking skills• Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams• Ability to develop compelling content and collateral: 1-pagers, presentations, blog posts, and more• B2B SaaS industry experience strongly preferredEven if you don't meet all of the requirements listed, we still encourage you to apply.Job requirements are a wishlist, not a checklist, and we're happy to help the right candidate grow into this role - if you're excited about Shortcut, we're excited about you!
